CAPT. JOHN IVEY.—The Roanoke News [Weldon, NC] states that this gentleman who has been for a large number of years running as a passenger conductor on the Wilmington and Weldon road, and who is deservedly popular, has resigned his position as a conductor to accept the place of depot agent at Rocky Mount. Capt. Jos. M. Howell succeeds Capt. Ivey as conductor.
