Special Market Report


Young Men— Steady
Girls— Lively, willing and in demand
Papas—Firm, but declining
Mammas—Unsettled, but waiting for higher bids.
Coffee—Considerably mixed
Fresh Fish—Active and slippery
Wheat—A grain better than barley
Eggs—Very quiet, but they will probably open up lively in a short time.
Whiskey—Steadily going down.
Onions—Strong and rising
Breadstuffs—Heavy
Boots and Shoes—Those in the market are soled and constantly going up and down
Hats and Caps—Not as high as last winter, except foolscap, which is stationery
Tobacco—Very low and has a downward tendency
Silver—Close, but not close enough to get hold of
